Illustration
The following portfolio pieces are a mix of illustrations designed for real-life clients and portfolio pieces designed in my graphic design program or as a passion project.
Client: 826michigan
Project:
Print design & illustration
This book I designed for 825michigan features short stories written by elementary and middle school students from various schools in the Washtenaw County area. Along with illustrating 10 interior graphics and the exterior covers, I also typeset the interior content.
The various interior and exterior illustrations mirror characters and places mentioned within the short stories themselves.

Illustration, print design, and social media design
The following portfolio pieces are projects made either during my graphic design program, or are passion projects, and are not for actual clients.
Project:
100 Days of Food - Passion Project
In my very first design course, we were given the opportunity to create 100 designs based on the same prompt. I chose “food.” At the time, I had hand drawn the “food doodles,” and then brought them into Photoshop to add color.
After my program, I decided to redesign my initial illustrations in Illustrator to create this passion project: 100 Days of Food. Pictured here are samples of the collection. See the full collection here!
Project: Comfort Movie “Zine” Posters
I had initially hand-drawn these illustrations as a zine during my graphic design program. After graduating, I digitized them in Illustrator as posters.

I designed this illustration using both analog and digital elements. I scanned in hand-pressed flowers from my garden and then digitally illustrated the children and balloon.

I designed this illustration using both analog and digital elements. I scanned in fabric pieces to act as the many mattresses, and then digitally illustrated the princess and pea hiding within the mattresses.
